the problem

Water waste through over consumption and leaking infrastructure is pushing the uk towards a 4 billion litre shortfall per day by 2050.

Today 3 billion litres of water are lost each day due to leaks within the uk.

Additionally, users are unaware of their own water usage, my research tracked three subjects over 1 week to measure how much water they used in the shower - the results were shocking.

from bespoke engineeringto adapted technology

Applying commercial grade ultrasonic technology Spring can accurately measure water flow through a pipe. Eliminating the need for invasive plumbing or specialist tools and knowledge to install.

Each ultrasonic transducer clamps around standard pipe sizes within the home. Magnets ensure a secure fit for maximum accuracy.

from awareness tobehavioural change

My research established that monitoring alone was insufficient; Spring needed to translate real data into achievable goals, tangible progress and positive reinforcement.

A tactile matte silicone body and square 4.5 inch screen display allow the user to interact with their data. The screen can connect to multiple transducers around the house giving real-time insights.
